Returning The Call
A friend you lost touch with from college Left you a message last Fall; And now you must live with the knowledge You never returned the call. Our lives are shot through with distraction, Then death hangs a sign: ‘To Let’. Now, which in this stack calls for action— Which shall I live to regret?
